We truly couldn't recommend GC enough to anyone looking for a Golden Cavalier or a Golden Cavadoodle. We felt great about it and had Just Paws Transport bring him home to us two weeks later. We picked Forrest (formerly Maverick) though both boys were extremely cute and well mannered given their age. The weekly emails really kept us going until we finally went to the farm to meet the boys.

Forrest was born on 1/31/22 and we were sent an update within a week as promised. The communication throughout was thorough and timely, and Lisa had many calls with us throughout the waiting period to answer questions we had and was always quick to email back when we sent something over. We filled out the application, were approved, and were top of the list for our little boy. We expressed that we had a toddler and that we needed a dog that would be okay with a slightly rambunctious little girl, and they let us know that their dogs are socialized with people and children of numerous ages as soon as possible which made us feel great.

They were immediately receptive to us coming out for a visit - I'd say they encouraged it. One of our questions to everyone we reached out to was, 'Can we come out to visit the location' as based on our research, that was the best way to truly understand what the situation was for the parents and puppies. There's a few good breeders out there, but when we spoke with Lisa initially, we knew we were in good hands. Where to start.From the moment my wife found their website, we felt good about Golden Cavaliers.
